Event Overview: The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce invites you to our Workforce Roundtable, an collaborative discussion aimed at bridging the gap between employment service providers and employers. This event will focus on identifying barriers for both job seekers and employers, understanding the challenges each group faces, while working collaboratively to find solutions and bridge the workforce gap, fill vacancies and raise awareness about the services and supports available for employers.

Who Should Attend:

  • Employment Service Providers: Share your insights and strategies to better connect job seekers with employers.
  • Employers: Discuss your hiring needs, learn about the obstacles job seekers encounter, and find effective solutions to attract the right talent.

Event Highlights:

  • Group Discussions: Engage with experts and industrial professionals as they discuss the current job market, and training and services available.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect directly with other attendees to share experiences and build valuable relationships.
  • Problem-solving: Participate in discussions focused on improving communication and collaboration between service providers and employers to help find solutions
  • Q&A: Come with your questions, share concerns, and propose your ideas and solutions as it relates to the regional workforce.

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM located in the Brooks Campus Cafeteria

6:00 PM - 8:00PM located in the Brooks Campus - Room 111

Medicine Hat College - Brooks Campus

Meetings to take place in the Medicine Hat College Brooks Campus

The morning session will take place in the Cafeteria at MHC Brooks Campus, and the evening session is scheduled for Room 111.
