Description
Workplace Training matches participants with an employer to gain on-the-job training or work experience in Hospitality and Tourism Sectors. Placements are unique to the participant's job target and needs of the employer. - Up to 5 days of work experience (unpaid),
- Job support for employer,
- Job coaching for students,
- Employment maintenance for up to 3 months,
- Coverage under the Government of Alberta's Workers' Compensation,
- Students receive certificate training including First Aid, ProServe, Food Safe and Superhost, WHMIS, and
- Regular follow-up with student to ensure success and continued employment.
Students are Naturalized Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada, Ukrainian Refugees, Temporary Foreign Workers, and/or International Students.
