University of Alberta Community & Industry Roundtable - Advocacy & Workforce Priorities

Join the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce for an exclusive roundtable discussion with representatives from the University of Alberta, including Anastasia Lim, Director of Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, and members of the University’s leadership team. This session will provide an opportunity for local business, industry, and community leaders to share perspectives on regional priorities and explore areas of mutual interest and collaboration. 

Discussion topics will include:

• Workforce and talent pipeline development Enrolment trends across Alberta 
• Economic development opportunities
• Sector-specific priorities such as dual-use technology, defence, health, agriculture, energy, and artificial intelligence. 

Participants will have the opportunity to share insights on the challenges and opportunities facing Southeast Alberta and identify ways the University and local stakeholders can work together to support regional growth and innovation.
