Why Attend?

As part of our Influencer Series, your voice matters. Our Quarterly Meeting of the Members is open to all members of the Chamber of Commerce, with a special focus on our Business Advisory Committee priorities. It is your platform to influence the policies and initiatives that shape our region’s business environment. We’re calling on our members to join us in identifying key issues, developing actionable solutions, and ensuring our policies reflect the needs of our vibrant business community.

What to Expect:

• Overview of current priorities and actions: Learn about current issues, policies and priorities that the Chamber is working on and what information we need from our members' to ensure we advocate for you!
• Open Discussion: Share the challenges and opportunities your business is facing. We'll talk about new issues that have been submitted to us through our Business Issue Submission form: https://chamber.southeastalbertachamber.ca/submit-an-issue
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with peers to develop practical recommendations to the current and emerging issues.
• Policy Impact: Help shape the Chamber’s advocacy efforts and policy direction.
• Networking: Connect with fellow business leaders and decision-makers.

How does it work?

• Issue Identification: We need to hear from our members about the issues that impact our business community and any background and research on the issue. 
• Problem-Solving Framework: We need to develop recommendations that will work towards potential solutions to achieve success. 
• Issue feedback: We need your feedback to ensure that we are identifying opportunities and working to resolve the issues brought forward. 
• Policy review: If we have achieved success or the circumstances have changed, we need to review and update our recommendations to ensure they are relevant and impactful to our local business community.
