"School of Trades" Industry Meet & Greet - Brooks & Area

CAREERS and Grasslands School Division are hosting an Industry Meet & Greet for students in the Prairie Sky "School of Trades" dual credit program in partnership with Lethbridge Polytechnic and students in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Lunch will be provided for all students and industry participants.

This informal event gives students the opportunity to practice essential employability and soft skills in a real-world setting. While students have developed hands-on trade skills through their dual credit coursework, this session will focus on communication skills such as talking about themselves, answering questions, and engaging professionally.

Industry professionals will meet with students in small groups to ask questions, share insights, and offer feedback. Whether you are currently hiring or simply interested in connecting with future trades professionals, your participation helps students build confidence in a low-pressure, casual environment.

This is a great opportunity to meet motivated students, connect with other industry professionals, and support workforce development in our community.
