Due to the number of candidates and the length of time we had, the forum did not provide adequate time to ask all the questions submitted. However, we accepted questions online and at the forum to provide to candidates following the forum, to be posted on our website as responses are received. You can view the Vote Prosperity 2025 Platform here as responses are received.
Questions asked at the election forums will be in priority order:
1. Questions based on the policies and positions of the Chamber of Commerce
2. Questions submitted in advance by our members, which will be prioritized in the order they are received
3. Questions submitted in advance from the general public
4. Questions submitted at the forum
We ask that all questions be non-partisan in nature and be posed to all candidates in each category (Mayoral, Incumbent and New Candidates). If you have a question for a specific candidate, we ask that you contact those candidates directly, as questions posed to individual candidates will not be asked by the Chamber through the forum. You can learn more and find links to your municipality here: https://chamber.southeastalbertachamber.ca/advocacyinsights/Details/vote-prosperity-2025-284165
Any questions that are not asked at the Chamber's forum, that meet the criteria above, will be compiled and distributed to all candidates for response to be publicly shared on the Chamber of Commerce Vote Prosperity page of our website.
