Join us for an evening of delicious food and a fascinating presentation all about the Supermoon at Eagle Butte Observatory. The tour begins at d'Carlo Pasta House, where guests are welcomed with a d'Carlo signature Italian soda, wedge Caesar salad, the choice of main course, and choice of dessert. Choice of main course: 1. Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni 2. Chicken and Prosciutto Cannelloni Gluten free and lactose free are available. Please note dietary needs at the time of booking. Choice of dessert: 1. d'Carlo Cheesecake with cherries, caramel or chocolate topping 2. Espresso Tiramisu Cake 3. Deconstructed Tiramisu 4. Affogato From d'Carlo, guests will board the Sunshine Trolley and head to the Eagle Butte Observatory to view the Hunter's Supermoon. A Supermoon is when the moon is full and closer to the earth, appearing 30% larger. Looking through the telescopes at the observatory, guests will be able to see details of the moon we wouldn’t normally see outside of a Supermoon. Amateur astronomer Rod DeVries will share his knowledge throughout the night. Conversation and questions are welcome.
