About
Put your body in good hands
Our body is so much more than biology (organism), pyschology (our behavior), physiology (how we function), or kinesiology (how we move) or our anatomy (our structure).
So what does "Feath & Elemi" mean? How did we come up with such a unique name?
Feath is a Gaelic word (pronounced 'feth' meaning in the absence of stress; tranquility; absence of man-made influence on nature. The state of being calm; peacefulness; absence of worry, anger, or fear or other strong negative emotion.
Elemi (pronounce as 'eh-luh-mee') is an essential oil created from the oleoresin of the Elemi tree, and has medicinal properties that aid in the recovery of stress. The emotional aspects of it include "Elemi can inspire hope and revitalize the spirit in times of nervous exhaustion and stress. Magically, Gum Elemi is used for rites of passage, initiation and new beginnings. It helps the letting go of pre-conceptions and old ideas at the dawn of a new chapter in life"
