Description

A group of organizations in Brooks and the County of Newell recently formed a collaborative partnership aimed at providing further support around early childhood development to meet the needs of the families. Our partners include Alberta Health Services, Grasslands Public Schools, SPEC Family Resource Network, The Brooks Public Library, Bridges Family Programming, and Parents as Teachers. 

We are currently planning our second Community Share Fair event for:

May 28th, 2025 from 4-6pm at the JBS Canada Centre Fieldhouse.

It includes a free family BBQ, live entertainment, family activities, door prizes, and parent information tables. 

Last year we had 28 local community agencies and organizations join us to set up an information table and we saw over 400 people attend the event!

We appreciate the support of our local businesses in Brooks and the County of Newell and we would ask you to consider providing a donation of items for the raffle table, door prizes, or to include in the “swag bag”. Monetary contributions would help to cover the costs of the event and donation receipts can be provided.
