Job Status: Full-time 38.75 Hours per Week
The Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Executive Director, will provide leadership in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of Medicine Hat Health Foundation’s digital platforms, written publications, communication strategy and overall marketing. While maintaining the Foundation’s brand. This position works closely with the Executive Director, AHS staff, Donors, Committees, and media representatives.

Specific Duties
SOCIAL MEDIA
Create and curate engaging content for various social media flatforms
Monitor and respond to social media interactions to enhance audience engagement.
Support the communication of the Foundation’s promotion and recognition activates, creating content for events promotion and recognition
Interviewing hospital patients and staff, as well as member of the Foundation, and writing reader-first contact for Foundation communication channels
Develop and implement content for impact stories, meeting with individual departments who have received funding for equipment, special projects, and/or programs to take pictures, gather information around impact of donations.
Create and develop video content for social channels
Report on the social media results and evaluation
WEBSITE AND DIGITAL ASSETS
Maintain, develop, and update the website
Provide reporting on website traffic and conversion
Support, create and maintain events on Crowd Change planform
Work with Third party on digital asset development promotion
Collaborate with team to optimize the Foundation’s website for better visibility.
EMAIL MARKETING AND PUBLICATIONS
Develop and implement email marketing strategies
Oversee the email calendar, evaluate, and report on performance.
Collect, develop, and create content for written publications
Produce Newsletters and communications for donors
Produce annual impact report
Support all written communications and promotion
CAMPAIGN AND EVENT COORDIANTION
Strategize advertising campaigns, operationalizes through planning, creation, metric analysis, and budget oversight
Support the promotion of events and campaigns
Manage the production of written, and visual assets
Collaborate with external marketing agency
Work closely with the team to coordinate and promote events, both virtual and in-person.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education or related technical training required.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a strong understanding of channel –specific writing, (media pitches, owned content, emails and newsletter, social writing) and the ability to write for multiple objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with social media platforms, video editing software and digital marketing tools.
Basic graphic design skills (Adobe creative suite, Canva etc.)
Enthusiastic cand willing to learn with a positive attitude.
Experience with email marketing systems
High regard for privacy and confidentiality of business information.
Able to manage competing priorities and take the imitative.
A strong designer and brand manager.
Clear Background Check
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The work environment is fast-paced and ever evolving, dependent on organizational and campaign needs throughout the year, requiring the ability to be flexible, adaptable, and work under pressure.
The work may require some duties outside of regular work hours, such as evening and weekends to meet campaign and event needs.
PAY RATE
$50,500 - $70,000
