REDI Enterprises, Runway Employment Program.

REDI Enterprises with the Province of Alberta working in partnership with the Government of Canada launches “Runway” providing employment support programs and services In Southern Alberta.

Runway, a transformative new employment initiative in Southeastern Alberta to support individuals facing barriers to workforce participation. The Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program, funded by the province and delivered by REDI Enterprises Society, is designed to empower individuals with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other barriers to employment.

This innovative, person-centered program offers comprehensive assessment, skills training, job placement, on-site coaching, and wraparound supports to help participants secure and sustain meaningful employment.

“True success is built through community. By engaging local employers, service partners, and support networks, we’re not just helping individuals find jobs—we’re creating a culture of inclusion, resilience, and shared opportunity across Southeastern Alberta”
-Josh Hudson, Executive Director REDI Enterprises.

Runway will be open to individuals starting today. REDI is seeking potential partner agencies, businesses, and Job Seekers to make this innovative project a success in our communities.

“Alberta is proud to support programs that help Albertans with disabilities gain and retain good jobs. People with disabilities are essential to Alberta’s workforce and deserve every opportunity to thrive in their chosen career. Alberta is stronger when all Albertans are able to pursue meaningful employment and help drive our province’s success.”
- Jason Nixon, Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services.

With Runway we are embarking on a new journey. The path to an inclusive, and sustainable workforce will be through REDI Enterprises. We’re excited to have been chosen to provide this much needed service to our community.
