COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER FOR MIDNIGHT MADNESS IN DOWNTOWN MEDICINE HAT

Medicine Hat, AB — The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to celebrate Midnight Madness 2025, which lit up Downtown Medicine Hat on November 21st with festive cheer, incredible deals, and strong community spirit.

This year’s event featured 80 businesses on the official map, including 32 Chamber member businesses, offering promotions, giveaways, holiday specials, as well as staying open late to welcome the public. Attendees enjoyed live entertainment, activities, hay rides, a petting zoo and various food and beverage offerings from local favorites, in addition to the annual tree lighting ceremony, creating a magical start to the holiday season.

“Midnight Madness is a reminder of the importance of supporting local—not just during the holidays, but all year long,” said Aaron Fleming, Chamber President. “Every dollar spent locally helps strengthen our economy, create jobs, and keep Medicine Hat's downtown vibrant.”

The Chamber extends heartfelt thanks to all participating businesses, volunteers, and community members who made this year’s event unforgettable. “Our businesses are passionate about our community and invest time, money and energy into helping our community thrive. Each and every time you choose to support a local business, you’re investing in the people who live, work and reinvest those dollars right here at home." adds Lisa Dressler, Executive Director.
