SOUTHEAST ALBERTA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PARTNERS WITH CANADIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO OFFER TRADECERT CANADA SERVICES

Southeast Alberta - The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a partnership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to provide local businesses with access to TradeCert Canada, an online platform that simplifies the process of obtaining Certificates of Origin and other export document certification services.

This partnership gives Southeast Alberta exporters a fast, secure, and convenient way to certify export documents without the need for in-person visits. Through TradeCert Canada, businesses can apply for Certificates of Origin and other certified documents directly from their office, helping save time, reduce administrative burdens, and support international trade opportunities.

"International trade continues to play an important role in the economic success of Southeast Alberta," said Aaron Fleming, President of the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce. "By partnering with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and offering TradeCert Canada services, we are making it easier for local businesses to access the documentation they need to reach customers beyond our borders. This service helps reduce barriers for exporters and supports business growth in our region."

As part of the program, businesses can register for TradeCert Canada by submitting a Letter of Waiver, proof of business registration, and proof of origin documentation. Once approved, users receive access to the platform and can begin submitting certification requests online.

Fleming added, "We know that time and efficiency matter, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses. TradeCert Canada provides a modern, secure solution that allows companies to complete essential export documentation quickly and conveniently."

The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce remains committed to supporting the success of local businesses by providing valuable programs, resources, and advocacy that enhance competitiveness and encourage economic growth across the region.
