Bio: Glen Watmough, CEPA® is a financial strategist, business exit advisor, and community-rooted entrepreneur. He is the Founder of Watmough Wealth & Legacy, a Medicine Hat-based financial services firm, and a Managing Partner at Eau Claire Partners. With over eight years of experience in life insurance, investments, and retirement planning, Glen specializes in helping business owners transition from active enterprise to retirement through strategic and intentional exit planning.

In 2025, Glen earned the prestigious Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation through the Exit Planning Institute, becoming one of only 40 CEPAs in Alberta. Having sold his own business prior to becoming an advisor, Glen brings real-world insight into the financial, emotional, and logistical challenges entrepreneurs face when planning their exit. This personal journey fuels his passion for guiding others through one of the most critical—and often overlooked—chapters in their business lifecycle.

Glen has spoken at corporate events and public educational seminars across Alberta. His presentations are known for being dynamic, relatable, and refreshingly humorous—breaking the mold of what can often be a dry topic. Whether addressing succession, valuation, tax planning, or transition readiness, Glen’s goal is to make business owners feel informed, empowered, and prepared.

Born and raised in Calgary, Glen is a fourth-generation Albertan with roots in the farming community. He’s an avid classic car enthusiast—frequently touring the region in his beloved 1957 Chevy.
